Add Person

This workflow shows you how to add a new person to the system.


Goal

The goal of this workflow is to manually add a new person to the node tree under an already existing organization unit.


Who can perform this workflow

This workflow is restricted and you need to have the correct permissions to complete the workflow.

To complete this system action you must:

  • Be a system administrator
  • Have read and write permissions to the parent

Preconditions

  • The parent must already exist in the system
  • Required permissions must be granted

Involved nodes

  • Primary nodes: Person, Organization Unit, Entity Root
  • Related nodes: Permission

Workflow steps

  1. Navigate to the relevant page
  2. Locate in the node tree, the parent/organization unit you want to add the person to
  3. Navigate to the members section
  4. Initiate the action by pressing the three dots in the top right
  5. Click on the Person text and icon
  6. Fill in the required information
  7. Review and confirm by saving in the bottom right

Result

  • The person is now visible in the node tree under the selected parent
  • The person is also visible in the members section under the parent
  • Notification is visible when successful
